New message regulation policies for Altel and Tele2 were introduced on 3 October 2018. All promotional and marketing messages may only be sent if the end-user has provided his/her prior written consent to receive these messages. Messages may be sent between 10 pm and 9 am (GMT+6) only if the end-user has requested this messaging. Non-compliant messages will be considered spam and fined accordingly should the end-user lodge a complaint.
